Girls, I have done everything I can think of.
Mr Blossom has had two Z-packs from the doctor
Homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles
Some real tender loving care from Mrs. Blossom
Hot steaming hot jet-ta tub bath
Home tea with honey
History movies
Nothing is working.
I am worried that he won't be well for the grand-kids
for Christmas eve. I have made him another doctors appointment
for Monday evening and I wish the doctor could give him and old
fashion penicillin shot. I don't think they do that anymore do they?
I felt bad yesterday and we both stayed home and just laid around.
Today I finished wrapping and washed all the serving dishes for Christmas eve.
Look for the Christmas final table-scape at Susan's for Tuesday.

Oh Blossum,
I'm so sorry he's feeling so sick. That sucks.
You can absolutely request a penicillen shot. I hope he gets one soon. Sounds like it's really needed.
Take Care and I hope your Holiday is blessed.

Hi Blossom, I've never visited this blog before, just the other one. I hope your hubby gets well soon!I looked at your thanksgiving post, and you have a beautiful family! Thanks for stopping by my mom and dad's house.Merry Christmas! Kristen
Hi Blossom...I sure hope Mr. B feels better realllll soon! Sounds like you have done everything to make him feel better!
I just noticed you said something about Tablescape Tuesday...can I add you to the list of those posting a tablescape on Tuesday?
:-)
My husband believes in old fashioned Penicillin shots. I think it's awful they're making you wait till Monday. I have an old farm cure that has helped me in the past. I add lots and lots of garlic, with Tabasco, to my chicken soup, and that helps.
Also, as long as I'm passing out medical advice without a license, sometimes Zicam (it's over the counter) swabs or spray will help shorten a cold's duration, and lessen the symptoms. There's a whole slew of Zicam products, depending on the symptoms.
Finally, an all-round tip: when I feel achey-breaky cold/flu symptoms coming on, I take Oscillococcinum. It's sublingual, sweet-tasting little pellets under the tongue. It's made by Boiron. I've found it at heathy food stores, and also my Publix carries it. I keep a box in the pantry.
But if you are allergic to Penicillin, DON'T take it. It will cause a reaction. I swear by this.
Hi Blossom,
Thanks for visiting my post~ a new friend who shares a passion for flowers! I'm so sorry your husband doesn't feel well. One thing that my mom swears by is a teaspoon of cod liver oil! She swears by it! I'd rather die from the cold, however! :) Merry Christmas!

I am sorry that your hubby isn't well. I pray that he gets better really soon. I know when I get sick. I am really sick, too!! I have asked for a penicillin shot.
Go for it!! I hope it helps!!
Hugs, Terrie
Hi Blossom...what a bummer to be sick right now...there does seem to be something making the rounds ...I think Gollum had some great ideas, especially Zicam products...but they are primarily for colds & this may be something more drastic...I know it must be bad because most men won't stop until they drop...Sending you both well wishes! ;-) Bo
Hi Blossom, thanks so much for visiting! I've enjoyed reading your blog and loved seeing your grandchildren! So sorry to hear that your husband is sick and not really getting better. I hope he turns the corner soon.
Hi Blossom...I'm so sorry Mr. Blossom is not feeling well. Weren't those old penicillin shots great? My daughter's doctor called it the "silver bullet." Hope he's back in action for th eholidays...Debbie
