Just the usual table place setting; nothing special.

Thank you Susan at Between Naps on the Front Porch for another escape to table scape
thursday. This was a typical table setting for me on a week night. We had dinner tonight
on the back porch. Yes, I did cook but I will save that scene for Gollum's Foodie Friday.

These dishes where given to me from a friend of my mothers.

Place one peony in the small vase from my flower garden.

Just planted these flower boxes. Getting a late start; will save more for Tootsie Fertilize Friday.

Purchased these glasses at an antique shop in Destin Florida.

Mothers used napkins; but I don't care they made me think of her and it gave me some smiles.

Little crystal on the table.

Please visit all the other tables capes on Susan's blog there are amazing!

Tootsie, these are the plates that the neighbor brought food over to my mother; now my mother loved to set her tabel. I have 8 plates, 8 bowls and 8 salad plates, don't know why she never had any cups or saucers? They are smaller plates than I usually use but they are very pretty. I will pass them on when I am done; I will tell my girls. Come on bring that shovel.

I hope your mother is doing fine...prayers for her and your family. I love your plates...I'm sure my sister would freak if she saw them cause I think she has a set similar and loves them! How relaxing feeling with the candles and flowers...I'd love to sit down to this table after a long day! Simply lovely!

Anita,
What a pretty tablescape, those dishes look so elegant. I will make you feel better, because I have not been to my local nursery yet. I did help my mother-in-law on my recent trip home. I am ready for warm weather, winter felt very long this year. ~Cathy~
