Mothers precious items she made for me and Thirty Percent Off Of Everything........Horchow........ Just in time for Tablescape Thursday.......

My mother made this table linen, 8 napkins and a table runner for me over 39 years ago. There are very special to me and I still wonder today what she was thinking as she crossed stitched these for me. I will treasure these forever. I use to use these all the time in the summer for my table but the my grandchildren are still young and I keep them in the linen closet. As I was taking the photos I remember mother had given these to me at christmas time. The detals on these are so colorful, the pictures really don't bring out the beauty of what she has done here.
Martha, I posted this tonight for you to see the items we e-mailed about today.

Wouldn't this lovely bee tea set look awesome over at Susan's Between Naps on the Front Porch; it would look lovely with her bee flatware.

Horchow is now offering 30% off on their goods. This is their best discount this year.
Check out their website: horchow.com

Please be sure to check out Between Naps on the Front Porch this week.
Our host Susan along with Mr. Linky will display all the other bloggers link to
their tablescape. Look for some great ideas and inspiring tablescapes.

You might even find some tablescape dishs here at Horchow that you have been looking for.

Good Morning! I love the tablelinens your mother made for you. I know she was thinking of how much she loved you while she was stitching. You are very lucky to have such a nice keepsake. I think she would want you to use them. I love Horchow. I get their email alerts. But, I can't buy any right now. I have spent way to much on my outdoor plants. That's ok. I will buy new dinnerware this fall. Have a great day! Hugs, Terrie

Horchow's sale is magnificent...isn't it?!

I'd love to see your creativity bloom in the creation of a floating tablescape...would you consider creating one for the contest?!

Happy Thursday!

What a beautiful heritage from your mom. I, too have those thoughts...my grandmother was a quilter and I was too young to appreciate it. But now wonder--how she got started, maybe her mother. Treasured moments lost. Although we have the handiwork and memories.

Thanks for sharing,
Candy
